So much has already been said and written about the horrific events in Israel this past week. While we all hope and pray for peace, the sad truth is that there are already tens of thousands of our fellow Jews whose lives will never be the same.

Many congregants have asked how they can help. Two very solid charitable organizations are guaranteeing that 100% of all financial donations will go to frontline relief efforts, including food and housing for evacuees and support for emergency responders, hospitals and trauma centers. And both organizations are providing matching funds.

The first organization is the American Jewish Committee (AJC). The first $225,000 donated to AJC’s Israel Emergency Campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar by generous supporters. You can make your donation online using the link below:

The second is the American Friends of Magen David Adom, the Israeli Red Cross. Michael Bloomberg and Bloomberg Philanthropies are providing a one-to-one match of all donations of up to $50,000 each. You can make donations online using the link below:
