Men's Club

The TBI Men's Club aims to make our Jewish community feel more like a family by hosting a variety of religious and social programs (which are all open to both men & women).

JOIN THE MEN'S CLUB!

Now is the time to become involved in a group that works together to make temple life more enriching and vibrant. You'll treasure the fellowship, camaraderie, social activities, and intellectual stimulation! Annual membership is $50 - payable to the TBI Men's Club (June 1 - May 31).

MISSION OF THE TBI MEN'S CLUB

Our activities and events are geared towards the various interests of TBI men, their families, and guests. You'll have many opportunities to see old friends gain, and make new ones at our dinners, Sunday breakfasts, social events, lectures, performances, and sporting events!

  • We support TBI and local charitable organizations in several ways. Our members volunteer at temple events, Mitzvah days, and more!
  • Each year, we donate much of the proceeds we raise at our events, to sustain TBI's operation, as well as other local organizations.
  • With your Men's Club membership, everyone wins! You enrich your life, and you enrich the lives of those we support.

ANNUAL CLUB EVENTS

Our popular monthly Sunday breakfasts begin in November and continue through April, featuring notable speakers discussing interesting and relevant topics, such as local sports, health, wellness, and more. For your enjoyment, we serve the classic lox & bagels, juice, coffee, pastries, and plenty of conversation. The breakfasts invite an opportunity to grow social circles, create lasting friendships, and enjoy fellowship in a casual setting.

We host an evening with the West Coast Black Theatre Troupe each spring which is always enjoyed by a sold-out audience.

The TBI Men's Club is also a proud co-sponsor of the annual Florence Katz Memorial Concert. This musical extravaganza features the talents of our temple choir, along with accompaniment of instruments and guest vocal musicians.

Every year, we plan a variety of events and activities that best suit the interests of our members. Current and past Men's Club activities include:

  • Competitive Trivia
  • Karaoke Night
  • Vocal & Instrumental Performances
  • Jazz Night
  • Lectures & Discussions
  • Dinner Cruises
  • Sports Outings
  • Golf Tournaments
  • Beach BBQ's
  • Day Trips
  • Summer lunches around town
  • Comedians & Magicians
  • Poker Night
  • We need everyone's support & ideas! Our goal is to have fun with our activities, learning opportunities, and community outreach.
